The job focused on protecting steep hillsides, ditches, and swales from soil loss due to heavy rains and runoff—common challenges in North Carolina’s variable weather. The process involves spraying a specialized slurry that combines seed, mulch, fertilizer, and an enhanced tackifier (a bonding agent) directly onto the prepared soil.
