From Overgrown to Outstanding: Full Yard Upgrade in Durham

At MWM Landscaping & Grading, we’re proud to help homeowners reimagine their outdoor spaces—and our recent project in Durham, NC, involved a complete landscape overhaul with special attention to reclaiming overgrown areas and enhancing overall functionality.

One of the most impactful parts of this project was our forestry mulching work. The property had large sections of thick, overgrown brush that were not only unsightly but also limiting the usable space. By using professional-grade mulching equipment, we efficiently cleared and mulched these areas, creating a cleaner, more open environment while improving visibility, access, and long-term maintenance.

Once the lot was cleared, we brought in a large volume of dirt to expand and regrade the front yard, giving the homeowners a much larger and more usable green space. We then installed 4,500 square feet of healthy St. Augustine sod, providing an instantly lush and welcoming lawn. Our team also designed and landscaped all the beds with a fresh mix of plants and materials for a polished look. To complete the project, we added outdoor lighting, enhancing both nighttime beauty and security.
