We’re thrilled to share that MWM Landscaping was hired by Smith Transport to tackle an exciting hydroseeding project at a glass plant in Durham, NC. After Smith Transport graded out an 11,000-square-foot area, they brought us in to handle erosion control and establish new grass to stabilize the site. Armed with our Finn Hydroseeder, we got to work, applying a high-quality contractors mix to ensure robust grass growth. Our team’s expertise and top-notch equipment made quick work of the job, setting the stage for a lush, green landscape that will help prevent erosion and enhance the site’s appearance.

At MWM Landscaping, we recently completed a rewarding hydroseeding project in Raleigh that turned an uneven backyard into a lush, family-friendly oasis. Our client’s backyard had a small wooden retaining wall in the middle, which disrupted the flow of the space. We removed the wall, filled in the area with dirt, and regraded both the front and back yards to create a smooth, even surface. To finish, we hydroseeded the area with fescue, giving the lawn a vibrant, green look in just 3–4 weeks. The customer chose hydroseeding over sod because it was a third of the cost, delivering sod-like results without breaking the budget—they’ve been thrilled with the outcome.

Job Description: Hardscape & Masonry Laborer

We are seeking experienced Hardscape & Masonry Laborers to join our team and contribute to the installation and maintenance of various hardscape features. This role involves performing skilled tasks related to hardscape construction, landscape maintenance, and equipment operation.

Key Responsibilities:
– Execute general hardscape installation and maintenance procedures according to project specifications.
– Install pavers, retaining wall blocks, and other hardscape materials with precision and efficiency.
– Operate a range of equipment including skid steers, compact excavators, chainsaws, power tools, and other specialized machinery.
– Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:
– Proven experience in the hardscaping industry.
– Proficiency in installing pavers and retaining wall blocks.
– Familiarity with operating machinery such as skid steers and compact excavators is advantageous.
– Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and independently when required.
– Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
– Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and manual labor.
– Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Additional Skills (Preferred but not Required):
– Experience operating landscaping equipment and power tools.
– Certification in equipment operation or relevant training.
